Caravan

Eype Beach is home to a number of 2 bedroom caravans, situated on the side of a hill, just a few hundred metres from Eype Beach itself on the Jurassic Coast. The Park is next to the South West Coast Path and many of the caravans enjoy sea views and vistas of the surrounding valley.

The Accommodation

Internal layouts vary as seen in the photos, but all have a TV and four seater dining area, as well as cosy seating, bright windows and neutral décor. In the kitchen you’ll find a sink, fridge-freezer, hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment.

Each caravan has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a family shower room with toilet, sink and walk-in-shower. These caravans can sleep up to 4 people and 3 dogs. All bookings must contain one adult over the age of 18.

Bed Linen

Duvets and pillows are provided and you will need to bring your own bedding (1 x double bed & 2 x single beds), or choose to hire one of our bedding packs. You’ll also need to bring your own towels and tea towels. Please note that where we have twin bedrooms, we do not offer the option to put single beds together to form a double/king, as they are not zip and link beds.

Choose Your Exact Accommodation

Please note that the caravans vary in terms of what’s included, but all are 10 foot wide, so may be slightly cosier than ones you’ve stayed in before. All of the caravans in this category do not have deckings and are older models than other on the park. Some have adjacent parking while others have parking in the field next to the park and some have sea views while others have partial sea views or none. If you wish to choose exactly which caravan you are booking, there is an additional £25 charge to do so. Dogs

Many of our caravans are dog-friendly, allowing up to 3 dogs. A complimentary dog welcome pack is included for all bookings with dogs. Please note, dogs are not permitted on sofas and beds, so you may wish to bring a dog bed from home, so they feel comfortable. We do keep a small number of caravans reserved as dog-free for those with allergies. If this is the case, you may be able to specify you require a dog-free caravan further on in the booking process, subject to availability. If you are unable to, please contact us and our Team will see what they can do.

Extras

Wifi can be purchased on arrival, either online via Paypal, or via the Park Reception. Further on in the booking process you will have the option to add extras to your booking, including Leisure Club passes, extra flexibility cover or accidental damage cover. You can also hire bedding packs, travel cots or high chairs, which will be in your accommodation on arrival.

The accommodation has a key box for a contactless check-in. We do not offer the ability to book early check-in or late check-outs. 

About The Park

Eype Beach is the newest member of the WDLH family and boasts some of our most incredible sea views of all. Found in an off-the-beaten track village location, you’ll feel like you’ve discovered a true hidden gem, both with the Park and the beach itself.

On the way to the beach, you’ll find Eype Beach Garden Café, with freshly made sandwiches, cakes, bagels and more. Eype Beach itself is easy to get to from the Park and is dog-friendly all year. In the village you can visit The New Inn and Smuggler's Bar. You’re also just a short walk over the hill to the bustling harbour of West Bay with kiosks, pubs, cafés and things to do. 

In the nearby town of Bridport you’ll find shops, restaurants and a thriving twice-weekly market as well as a long list of events throughout the year, ranging from well-known comedy acts at the Electric Palace, to the quirky Bridport Hat Festival. Eype is also perfectly situated between Weymouth and Lyme Regis, making both of these popular coastal towns an easy day trip. 

We’ve kept on-park facilities to a minimum, with everything you need already in your caravans, and a small launderette and spacious dog exercising meadow available. However, you’ll have access to the range of facilities up at nearby Highlands End Holiday Park, designed to keep the whole family busy.

Attractions within a 15 minute drive from the park include Symondsbury Estate, West Bay Discovery Centre, Bridport Museum, Colmer's Hill, Lyme Bay RIB Charter, Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club, Dorset Nectar Cider, Viking Village, Furleigh Estate Wine Tours, Palmer's Brewery Tours and Jurassic Journeys.

Guests staying at Eype Beach Holiday Park are welcome to visit and use the facilities at nearby Highlands End (1.5 mile drive or 20 minute walk). Charges may apply.

Securing your booking

A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 6 weeks before your arrival date. If there is less than 6 weeks before your arrival, the full balance will be required upfront. Any amendments to your holiday after the booking is completed will incur a £25 admin charge each time.
