Caravan

Our caravans are located in the front two areas of the Park, with just a short walk to the SPAR convenience store, pizza takeaway, children's play area, Seatown Beach and The Anchor Inn. Many of the caravans closest to the front have partial sea views. 

Each caravan comes with a gated decking and picnic table, and parking for one car immediately next to your decking. 

Inside you’ll find a comfortable living area. Layouts vary as seen in the photos, but all have a TV and dining area, as well as cosy seating, bright windows and neutral décor. In the kitchen you’ll find a sink, fridge-freezer, hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment. 

Each caravan has one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and a family shower room with toilet, sink and walk-in-shower. Most also have an additional en-suite toilet and sink off the double bedroom. 

Duvets and pillows are provided and you will need to bring your own bedding or choose to hire one of our bedding packs. You’ll also need to bring your own towels and tea towels. 

The photos in this listing show multiple different caravans with 3 bedrooms. You can either choose to book this type of caravan, and our system will allocate you one based on availability, or if you click through to the map you can view individual caravan photos and select a specific one, based on layout, location or en-suite preferences. There is a £25 charge for this. 

These caravans can sleep up to 6 people and 3 dogs. All bookings must contain one adult over the age of 18. 

Many of our caravans are dog-friendly, allowing up to 3 dogs. A complimentary doggy welcome pack is included for all bookings with dogs. Please note, dogs are not permitted on sofas and beds, so you may wish to bring a dog bed from home, so they feel comfortable. We do keep a small number of caravans reserved as dog-free for those with allergies. If this is the case, you may be able to specify you require a dog-free caravan further on in the booking process, subject to availability. If you are unable to, please contact us and our Team will see what they can do. 

Wifi can be purchased on arrival, either online via Paypal, or via the Park Reception. Further on in the booking process you will have the option to add extras to your booking, including Highlands End Leisure Club passes, extra flexibility cover or accidental damage cover. You can also hire bedding packs, travel cots or high chairs, which will be in your accommodation on arrival.

Check Out: By 9:30am 

The accommodation has a key box for a contactless check-in, so there is no need to visit the Park Reception upon arrival. We do not offer the ability to book early check-in or late check-outs. 

Our Location

Golden Cap is an award-winning Holiday Park in an incredible location just behind Seatown Beach on the Jurassic Coast. Guests can spend their days walking the South West Coast Path, enjoying bbqs on the beach, or watching the sun go down from the Anchor Inn’s cliffside beer garden. There’s also two more great pubs just a short walk away in the village of Chideock. If you want to venture further, it’s not far to drive (or get the bus) to Bridport, West Bay or Lyme Regis, all of which are characterful towns that are worth a visit. Bridport offers a thriving twice-weekly market, while Lyme Regis and West Bay have that bustling seaside feel, with fish & chip and ice cream kiosks you won’t want to walk past!

Securing your booking

A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 6 weeks before your arrival date. If there is less than 6 weeks before your arrival, the full balance will be required upfront. Any amendments to your holiday after the booking is completed will incur a £25 admin charge each time.
