Golden Cap is famed for its stunning Jurassic Coast location, nestled among rolling countryside and within easy reach of the South West Coast Path, making it an idyllic base for exploring Dorset’s dramatic coastline and landscapes.

Sun Room 

The stunning sun room is undoubtedly the heart of Beeswing, designed to make the most of its spectacular countryside setting. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass and crowned with a large skylight, this beautifully light-filled space invites the outdoors in, offering uninterrupted views across rolling Dorset hills from every angle. 

Whether gathered around the elegant dining table for long, sociable meals or relaxing on the comfortable seating area, guests can enjoy ever-changing scenery throughout the day.

Upstairs, the two master bedrooms provide a peaceful retreat, each featuring a luxurious king-size bed and a calm, contemporary design that makes unwinding effortless after a day by the coast. Light-filled and beautifully finished, these first-floor rooms offer a sense of privacy and comfort, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Both bedrooms benefit from an en-suite, one with a bath and the other with a shower. 

On the ground floor, the two twin bedrooms are equally inviting, making them ideal for children or additional guests. Stylishly furnished with the same attention to detail, they create a welcoming and practical space that works perfectly for families or groups travelling together. One of these bedrooms has an en-suite shower room, while the other one has easy access to the family bathroom across the hallway.

With parking for up to four cars, a dedicated 7kW electric vehicle charger (charges apply) and easy key box access, Beeswing is perfectly suited for group holidays, whether you're planning coastal adventures or simply relaxing together. 

Family-friendly and dog-friendly escapes 

Beeswing is ideal for families, with thoughtful extras including a travel cot and highchair ready for your arrival. Dogs are very welcome too (up to three, charges apply), with comfortable dog beds provided and access to the park’s excellent dog-friendly facilities, including a dedicated exercise meadow and dog shower. 

Beeswing benefits from its own private high-speed Starlink satellite internet service and with TVs in every bedroom, as well as the living room and sun room, you can enjoy the same service you’re used to at home and sign in to your favourite streaming services for movie nights with friends and family, or to keep up with your favourite series. 

Other useful and extra features include wellington boot racks, airer & washing line, bike rack for up to 4 bikes, pantry and hairdryers in each bathroom.

Outside, you’ll find our adorable alpacas, ready for selfies!

A complimentary dog welcome pack is included for all bookings with dogs. Please note, dogs are not permitted on sofas and beds, and we provide a dog bed, though you may wish to bring pillows or blankets for them from home, so they feel comfortable. For those with allergies, we do have dog-free lodges, caravans and glamping accommodation available. 

Further on in the booking process you will have the option to add extras to your booking, including extra flexibility cover or accidental damage cover. You can also hire travel cots or high chairs, which will be in your accommodation on arrival.

The accommodation has a key box for a contactless check-in, so there is no need to visit the Park Reception upon arrival. We do not offer the ability to book early check-in or late check-outs. 

 

Our Location

Golden Cap is an award-winning Holiday Park in an incredible location just behind Seatown Beach on the Jurassic Coast. Guests can spend their days walking the South West Coast Path, enjoying BBQs on the beach, or watching the sun go down from the Anchor Inn’s cliffside beer garden. There’s also two more great pubs just a short walk away in the village of Chideock. If you want to venture further, it’s not far to drive (or get the bus) to Bridport, West Bay or Lyme Regis, all of which are characterful towns that are worth a visit. Bridport offers a thriving twice-weekly market, while Lyme Regis and West Bay have that bustling seaside feel, with fish & chip and ice cream kiosks you won’t want to walk past!

Securing your booking

A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 6 weeks before your arrival date. If there is less than 6 weeks before your arrival, the full balance will be required upfront. Any amendments to your holiday after the booking is completed will incur a £25 admin charge each time.
