Description

Our lodges are located right at the front of the Park, so you’ll be a stone’s throw from Seatown Beach and the Anchor Inn, as well as the Park Reception, SPAR Convenience Store and Pizza Takeaway, and not far from the children's play area either. Our lodges are open all year round, and you can even stay over Christmas and New Year!

All guests staying in Lodges benefit from perks including complimentary wifi and passes to nearby Highlands End Leisure Club.

The Accommodation

Each lodge comes with a large gated decking and picnic table, and parking for two cars. Inside you’ll find a spacious living area with two large sofas overlooking the double French doors onto the decking, plus a coffee table, TV and six seater dining area.

In the large kitchen area you’ll find a sink, fridge-freezer, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment.

These lodges have one double bedroom with king-size bed, with an en-suite toilet, sink and large walk-in shower. The two spacious twin bedrooms have full-size single beds and there is a large family bathroom with toilet, sink and over-bath shower.

These lodges can sleep up to 6 people and 3 dogs. All bookings must contain one adult over the age of 18.

Bed Linen

Duvets, pillows and ben linen are provided and everything will be made up ready for your arrival. Tea towels and bath towels for accommodation use are provided, but you’ll need to bring your own swim/beach towels. Please note that where we have twin bedrooms, we do not offer the option to put single beds together to form a double/king, as they are not zip and link beds.

Within this lodge category, bed sizes in the master bedroom vary between double or king size. If you wish to specify the bed size you would like, you will need to "Choose Your Exact Accommodation" (see below). Bookings where the exact accommodation has not been specified, may be switched to another lodge at any point up until arrival, which may move the booking from a lodge with a double bed to a king size bed, or vice versa.

Choose Your Exact Accommodation

The photos in this listing show multiple different 3 bedroom lodges. Some of the lodges in this category do have partial or restricted sea views. You can either choose to book this type of lodge, and our system will allocate you one based on availability, or if you click through to the map you can view individual lodge photos and select a specific one, based on layout, décor or location/view preferences. There is a £25 charge for this.

Dogs

Many of our lodges are dog-friendly, allowing up to 3 dogs. A complimentary doggy welcome pack is included for all bookings with dogs. Please note, dogs are not permitted on sofas and beds, and we provide a dog bed, though you may wish to bring pillows or blankets for them from home, so they feel comfortable. We do keep a small number of lodges reserved as dog-free for those with allergies. If this is the case, you may be able to specify you require a dog-free lodge further on in the booking process, subject to availability. If you are unable to, please contact us and our Team will see what they can do.

Extras

Further on in the booking process you will have the option to add extras to your booking, including extra flexibility cover or accidental damage cover. You can also hire travel cots or high chairs, which will be in your accommodation on arrival.

Arrival & Departure

Check In: From 4pm

Check Out: By 9:30am

The accommodation has a key box for a contactless check-in, so there is no need to visit the Park Reception upon arrival. We do not offer the ability to book early check-in or late check-outs.

About the Park

Golden Cap is an award-winning Holiday Park in an incredible location just behind Seatown Beach on the Jurassic Coast. Guests can spend their days walking the South West Coast Path, enjoying bbqs on the beach, or watching the sun go down from the Anchor Inn’s cliffside beer garden. There’s also two more great pubs just a short walk away in the village of Chideock.

On-Park, you will find a SPAR Convenience Store, Golden Cap Pizzeria, a children's outdoor play area, a fishing lake, dog exercising meadow and nature trail.

If you want to venture further, it’s not far to drive (or get the bus) to Bridport, West Bay or Lyme Regis, all of which are characterful towns that are worth a visit. Bridport offers a thriving twice-weekly market, while Lyme Regis and West Bay have that bustling seaside feel, with fish & chip and ice cream kiosks you won’t want to walk past!

Nearby attractions within a 15 minute drive include Seaside Sauna Haus, Lyme Regis Museum, Symondsbury Estate, Felicity's Farm Shop, Langdon Wood, West Dorset Forager, Colmer's Hill, Chideock Manor Gardens and Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre.

Guests staying at Golden Cap Holiday Park are welcome to visit and use the facilities at nearby Highlands End (3 mile drive). Charges may apply.

Securing your booking

A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 6 weeks before your arrival date. If there is less than 6 weeks before your arrival, the full balance will be required upfront. Any amendments to your holiday after the booking is completed will incur a £25 admin charge each time.

All bookings are subject to our full Terms & Conditions.

We loved the Golden Cap site and the proximity to the sea. We loved swimming every day, seeing the wild waves crashing onto the shore on rougher days. We loved walking the coastal path, to West bay one day and from Charmouth to Seatown on another. Spending time together, enjoying good coffees and delicious ice cream from the van at The anchor as well a delicious meal one evening

The lodge was fantastic, very clean, spacious, comfy, can’t praise it enough ! The whole camp was absolutely brilliant and the views are breathtaking. The added little surprise of the kitchen package and the dog package was just the best idea, it really surprised us and was a great idea thank you. It’s little things like that that matter. The app is great too very informative and updated us through the week, the park is immaculate and we used the dog wash too, loved the pizzas and the spar was very well stocked and so friendly
