Grass Electric Pitch

Our grass pitches are found on the edge of our small Park, tucked away in small clusters surrounded by trees and nestled alongside the River Bride. There are plenty of picnic benches dotted around and lots of space for children to play and all pitches are completely flat. 

Choosing your pitch

We do not allocate or book pitches in advance, instead you will choose your favourite available pitch on arrival. We therefore cannot guarantee that you will be able to pitch next to friends/family. 

For motorhomes and campervans who may vacate their pitch during the day, reserved signs are available to borrow from the Park Reception for a small refundable deposit, or you may use your own. 

If you need to be close to a facility block for accessibility reasons, please contact us the day before your arrival and we will do our best to reserve a pitch that is appropriate, depending on availability. 

Our grass pitches are suitable for units up to 7.5 metres in size, including:

Our grass pitches are NOT suitable for: 

• RVs 

Awnings are permitted, and you may bring small gazebos and wind breaks, though there is a limit of 1 unit per pitch.

The base price of the pitch includes 2 people. You can add additional guests, up to a total of 8 people and 3 dogs, as extras. All bookings must contain one adult over the age of 18. 

Extras

Wifi can be purchased on arrival, either online via Paypal, or via the Park Reception. Further on in the booking process you will have the option to add extras to your booking, including Highlands End Leisure Club passes, an additional car or extra flexibility cover. 

Facility Blocks

There is a facility block located nearby, containing separate male and female toilet and a unisex area with baby change area and semi-accessible wet room. There are also washing up areas, a paid laundry room, ice block freezer, motorhome service point, chemical disposal point and refuse and recycling bins.

Check In: From 1pm 

Check Out: By 11am 

You do not need to come into Reception on arrival or when you leave. We do not offer early check-ins. Late check-outs may be possible on low/mid season depending on availability, but cannot be booked in advance – speak to our Reception Team first thing on your day of departure if you would like this. 

 
About the Park

Graston Copse Holiday Park is a peaceful, welcoming retreat surrounded by woodland, meadows and farmland on the edge of the pretty village of Burton Bradstock in the beautiful Bride Valley. 

With touring and camping pitches alongside privately owned holiday homes, the Park has a relaxed, friendly feel where guests can slow down, enjoy the countryside and settle into the natural surroundings. Our welcoming team are always on hand to make your stay feel just that little bit more special.

There’s plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors, with a riverside and woodland walk winding through the Park and a dedicated dog exercising meadow. Nature is at the heart of Graston Copse, and it’s a wonderful place for wildlife lovers. Keep your eyes peeled for kingfishers along the river, woodpeckers in the trees, pheasants and crows in the surrounding fields, hedgehogs around the Park and, if you're lucky, even an osprey passing overhead. 

As evening falls, the Park becomes a particularly special place to be, with owls calling from the woodland and glow worms appearing among the grass. With little light pollution and open skies above, it’s also a fantastic spot for stargazing and enjoying the simple pleasure of sitting outside beneath the night sky.

 
Following the riverside footpath, it’s just a 10-15 minute stroll into the village, where you’ll find two of the best village pubs in the area - The Three Horseshoes and The Anchor Inn. You can continue on to Hive Beach another 5-10 minutes away, where you can hire paddle boards, enjoy a spot of fishing, relax on the beach, walk the South West Coast Path or enjoy a meal or coffee at the award-winning Hive Beach Café or Seaside Boarding House.

Nearby attractions within a 15 minute drive include Vurlands Animal Farm, Litton Lakes, Modbury Farm Shop, Bride Valley Vineyard Tours, Little Bredy Walled Garden, Abbotsbury Swannery, Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical Garden and West Bay Discovery Centre.

If you want to venture further, it’s not far to drive (or get the bus from Burton Bradstock) to Bridport, West Bay or Lyme Regis, all of which are characterful towns that are worth a visit. Bridport offers a thriving twice-weekly market, while Lyme Regis and West Bay have that bustling seaside feel, with fish & chip and ice cream kiosks you won’t want to walk past! 

Guests staying at Graston Copse Holiday Park are welcome to visit and use the facilities at nearby Highlands End (5 mile drive). Charges may apply.

Securing your booking 

A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 6 weeks before your arrival date. If there is less than 6 weeks before your arrival, the full balance will be required upfront. Any amendments to your holiday after the booking is completed will incur a £25 admin charge each time.

    Even though it was full and hot weather the staff kept all the toilets and showers excellent clean. The new steps down into the river is a superb idea and as a wild swimmer very welcome in the hot weather.

    We have been coming down to Burton Bradstock for around 30 years and absolutely love the area. This trip was very poigniant as the majority of our very good friend's children and grand children were also camping at Graston Copse this time. Our pal Alan Fuller passed away 18 months ago, and we have spent many, many family holidays with them and their children at your site. (initially when it was called Coastal Caravans) It is a safe, comfortable and friendly site, close to the things we love to do. The site staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. (we are first name terms with many of them) Our friends children, and their children, love the place too and will no doubt return again and again. In fact Antony Fuller has already booked for a visit next summer.
